Enemies ‣ Mobs and Gold
There are many factors that go into determining which mobs drop how much gold:
- Mob Level
- Drop Chance
- Mob Min Money Drop Amount
- Mob Max Money Drop Amount
Player enchantments and class type is not a factor in how much gold a mob drops. These are factors when picking up gold - not when the mob drops the gold.
The Formula[]
BASIC: MobMoneyDrop * 10 + MobMoneyGainPerLevel * MobLevel * 10
ADVANCED: Random(MinMoneyDrop, MaxMoneyDrop) * 10 + (Random(MinMoneyGainPerLevel, MaxMoneyGainPerLevel) * MobLevel * 10
From here it rounds down the number to the nearest 10 (so 19 goes to 10, 525 goes to 520, so on and so forth). Then it drops diamonds (worth 500), bags (worth 100), and coins (worth 10).
MinMoneyGainPerLevel is always 0.23
MaxMoneyGainPerLevel is always 0.29
Mob Level[]
There are a few factors about mobs that are quite fluid. Mob level, for one, can be changed depending on your equipped runes, enchantments, and so forth.
Mob levels are determined by multiple facets of the game including how many times you've beaten the castle (won the game), which rooms the mobs are spawned in, player enchantments, and so forth. So to exactly pin down what mob levels are for each mob type would be next to impossible as it's too variable. Simply keep in mind that the higher level monsters you face, the more gold you will receive.
